Curved wooden heater with hand painted castle siege battle scene. Painting is inspired by manuscript illumination from the Neville of Hornby Hours: Emperor Titus Besieges Jerusalem ca. 1325-50. English. 
 
  • Acrylic on heavy 10 oz canvas, mounted on wooden shield.
  • 22 x 36 x 1/2″
  • Deep curve.
  • Quality laminated birch, 1/2″ thick.
  • Only quality materials used.
  • Back is painted black.
  • Protected with several coats of clear sealant on front and back.
  • Hand crafted and painted in my Southern California studio.
